Description

It is an industrial area that is transformed into a residential area. The sector is formed by two platforms, one at the level of Avda. Josep Tarradellas and the other at the level of Avda. Vilafranca. The new arrangement and its alignments generate a central green area that acts as a union between platforms. To “enter” this large green area, a square has been designed between buildings, on a private area for public use, from which a three-part staircase joins the square and the park, making it a “gateway” to the urbanization. This central area is characterized by flowerbeds designed with vegetation of trees and shrubs that form stripes of different colors. Between the parterres, ramps and stairs are located to bridge the slopes between the platforms.
Among the housing blocks on the highest platform, living spaces and green areas have been designed. The green areas with grass and low-rise trees allow visual control from the height of the avenue. Vilafranca towards the urbanization.
