Description            

Baix Llobregat ARE Urban Master Plan's area is framed by "Master Plans Aims and Purposes for Catalonia Strategic Urban Residential Areas. 2008-2011" document, approved by Planning and Works Minister resolution on 18/02/08.

These 11 ARES that directly affect eleven municipalities, can be grouped in three sectors, all of them included in Baix Llobregat area:

North: subregion around Martorell

West: municipalities from valley and delta, Llobregat west area.

East: municipalities from Llobregat east area.

PDU's purpose is to develop the Law Decree 1/2007 of 16 October " emergency measures in 11 Baix Llobregat urban ARE." Looking for three specific objectives: manageability, quality and consensus .
